I have a passion for nature rooted in the notion of life’s interconnectedness, cyclical persistence, and transformation. I am interested in the complex web of relationships from micro to macro. I see these rhizomic connections as metaphors for life, vitalism and regeneration.
The overlooked - often small organisms - fascinate me, and I draw as a way to interact and know them better. A grass root I plucked from the garden was a starting point for developing new work. I see in it a creature-like form. Roots, tendrils and tentacles root us in the world. We are all connected.
